RED SHIELD
Red Shield cuts, re-records & remixes Primitive Reason tracks working them into Dub songs. The intent is to cut two Dub records in the next few years, one based on Primitive Reason’s 2005 Pictures in the Wall album turning it into Red Shield’s Axes to the Wall album, and the other will be based on Primitive Reason’s 2003 The FireScroll album which will become Red Shield’s Burnt the Bridges album. Red Shield was kindly allowed access to the tracks on both Pictures in the Wall and The FireScroll by Kaminari Records, who owns the rights to them. If we had access to more Primitive Reason albums, we would continue our exploration further, but it seems that those are difficult bargains.
We will post the mixed track under the original so you can compare the different trips that stem from the same source, starting with No Weak Beginning from the upcoming Axes to the Wall album.
RED SHIELD introducing: AXES TO THE WALL
1) No Weak Beginning is a remix of The Mighty Alrighty, from the Pictures in the Wall album (2005).
1) The Hanging Horseman is a remix of El Caballero (de la triste figura), from the Pictures in the Wall album (2005).
What is next for Red Shield?
The next Red Shield upcoming track is called: Enter the Dragon, and is a remix of Weakness
