The gallery for the second series of paintings based on the creation myth: How the Earth Became a Mother.
Painted between 2009 and 2010 this series focuses on displaying images of the Golden Trees, as they were often interpreted 600 years ago in Guanjama.
Painted between 2008 and 2009, the gallery for the retired first series of paintings is based on the creation myth: How the Earth Became a Mother.
This series focuses on ancient landscapes and cave-wall iconography, as were put down by the old peoples of Guanjama during the prehistoric age.
Tales on Pen. The pen carries the tale; free-flowing across the paper’s surface and leaving parts of the story in ink behind, as it moves along in the timeline searching for the end of the line.
Painted between 1996 and 1998 this was the first series to focus on cave walls and iconography as a central focus; it is the mother of all work that followed.
How the Earth Became a Mother is a Creation Myth that tells of the time when The Earth first gave birth to the Moon.
It is the tale on which ‘The First Wave’ and ‘The Golden Trees’ have been inspired, and which will continue to inspire the next series: ‘Enter the God-Heads’.
